Our team offer world class physiotherapy and sports massage treatment for runners and endurance athletes in Cheltenham.

Routinely welcoming athletes from the likes of Cheltenham Harriers, Almost Athletes, Cheltenham & Gloucester Trail Runners, and Cheltenham Triathlon Club.

Treatment is athlete focused, sport/event specific, and always accompanied by empathy; our staff are athletes, too!

Becky
Physiotherapist

It was Becky’s love for sport that has carved her career path as a physiotherapist. completing a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Brunel (2010) ignited a passion for the rehab sciences. After completing her Physiotherapy degree at St George’s (2013) she worked 4 years in the NHS alongside working with different sports before taking on full time work in sport.

 

She was awarded a scholarship through the English Institute of Sport to complete the Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy MSc at Birmingham University (2019) while getting the opportunity to work with British Swimming, British Sailing, British Canoeing and British Skeleton.

​

Outside of work Becky is a mum of two and loves nothing more than seeing them at the finish line of an event! She is a keen runner and previously participated in triathlon up to Ironman distance.

 

Favourite race: Cannes otillo swimrun

Favourite food: Bread (sourdough nerd)

Josh

Sports Therapist

Josh has always been passionate about strength training and fitness, which has shaped the way he approaches rehabilitation, focusing on movement quality, progressive loading, and recovery. After graduating with a First-Class degree in Sports Rehabilitation from UWE in 2025, he gained experience in MSK assessment, youth athlete rehab, and sports massage during placements.

He is skilled in sports massage and soft tissue techniques, helping athletes and active individuals recover faster and return to performing at their best. Josh particularly enjoys working with tendon-related injuries and supporting both endurance and strength athletes through evidence-based rehab.

Outside of the clinic, Josh enjoys weightlifting, long hikes, drumming, and cooking. He is also continuing his professional development with an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) at the University of Gloucestershire.

Top fitness tip: Recovery is just as important as training build it into your routine consistently.

Dan

Physiotherapist

Dan has always had a passion for sport. Growing up he played rugby and has carried that love of physical activity into adulthood. Away from work he enjoys different outdoor pursuits, particularly surfing, and can often be found training at the Lido in Cheltenham.

​

After tranistioning from a different career in high level sporting events Dan has gained valuable experience working in various musculoskeletal settings as well as high-performance environments with elite women’s football. This has developed his interest in supporting athletes to reach their potential while also understanding the importance of balancing training with everyday life. 

 

Favourite activities: Surfing, or failing that, a good swim in the Lido

Favourite food: Fries halloumi!

​

Top fitness tip: Prioritise good movement every day. Whether it’s training, stretching, or just getting outside, consistency makes the biggest difference.
