Emma

Physiotherapist

Emma has always been involved in sport since school including netball, hockey and horse
riding – spending most weekends eventing. Emma started training for a half marathon back in 2021 and has now completed multiple ultramarathons including multi-stage.

Emma completed an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise science in 2020 and then
an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2022. She has worked with elite athletes and is currently
working for the NHS and volunteering as a Physiotherapist at Ultramarathons. She supports
athletes through a holistic approach focusing on the person to get to the root of the cause
and then tackling it head on. She is looking forward to bringing these skills along with a love
for running to the Kinetic Sports family.

Favourite race: Ultra X Tanzania 250

Favourite food: Curry (but must have poppadom’s and sauces with it!)

Top fitness tip: Don’t neglect your single leg exercises! They are crucial for stability and
promoting strength and balance bilaterally in runners.

Kaisha

Sports Massage Therapist

Kaisha has been a competitive runner since the age of 12 and has always been a member of Bitton Road Runners from a junior. She's raced all sorts of distances from 1k to 20 miles and loves trail running.

Kaisha's main focus currently is strength training, lifting heavy weights to gain muscle and get strong! She has been qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist since 2019 and after suffering from many injuries herself, has a great knowledge on the benefits of regular massage, stretching, strength and mobility. She now wants to help others excel in their sports whilst being able to provide the right advice and aftercare to prevent them from getting injuries.

Favourite race: Cotswold Way Relay

Favourite food: Pasta and chocolate (not together!)

Top fitness tip: Make sure you’re working your glutes. It’s so common to find athletes with “weak” or “dysfunctional” glutes. Make simple glute exercises a regular feature in your training week.

Jamie

Sports Massage Therapist

Jamie is the latest triathlete to join the Kinetic Sports family! Having swum competitively as a kid, Jamie went on to compete at national level in Modern Pentathlon and Tetrathlon before finding Triathlon at Loughborough Uni. He frequented the British elite series through his twenties and took bronze at the 2013 age-group worlds. A puncture at the Ironman 70.3 worlds in Canada lost him the lead 30k into the bike. As a 6 ft 3, 2:39 marathoner and sub-16 5k runner, Jamie has overcome countless injuries and vouches very personally for the importance of coaching, physio, sports massage and s&c as part of every athlete’s regular training cycle. There are no shortcuts…

In 2023, Jamie left his corporate career to retrain as a Physio. He’s due to graduate from UWE in 2026 and is passionate about enabling endurance athletes of all disciplines and abilities to do the things they love. He qualified as a sports massage therapist in 2022, achieving his L4 advanced techniques in 2025. He’s also a BTF L3 triathlon coach and occasional BAD Tri swim coach.

Favourite race: when all is said and done, you can’t beat a good ParkRun!

Favourite food: Watermelon.

Top fitness tip: Don’t force it. Put the right plan in place, trust it, show up, and listen to your body. The gains will come.
